Understanding Our Hair Transplant Technique.
At Cendant Hair Restoration Clinics, hair transplants are doctor-led and performed with a refined FUE-based technique of precise follicle placement and designed to match your natural hair pattern. We use a .8mm punch, one of the smallest sizes available for FUE transplants, allowing for more precise extractions and minimal trauma to the donor area. Grafts are extracted from the back and sides of the head to maintain the balance of the donor area preservation vs number of grafts harvested. The hairline is created by manually implanting single-hair grafts extremely close together, this is done to achieve density in the most visually important area. For proper candidates, a no-shave hair transplant technique is available.
What makes our method different?
Not all hair transplants are created equal. Let’s talk about the difference between the Cendant FUE, Cendant FUE Plus and FUT.
Cendant FUE Plus (Transplant + Stem Cell Hair Restoration)
Our most commonly chosen hair transplant is the FUE Plus which uses the science of stem cell therapy in combination with hair transplantation. FUE Plus is done by transferring the patient’s live healthy stem cells and, umbilical derived exosomes into the scalp to repair microvascular blood flow and stimulate growth and repair in existing native follicles.
The result is denser native hair surrounding the transplanted follicles that is less susceptible to shedding. This is critical for a patient’s long term success and avoiding future transplants. FUE Plus shows significant effectiveness with our patients and in research and trial cases. This stem cell application has become commercially available at the Denver, Milwaukee and Houston clinics where we have specially trained stem cell Physicians and lab teams.
Cendant Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)
The Cendant FUE technique uses a tiny punch to make a small circular cut around a follicle or group of follicles, leaving a small hole. The Physician will manually, or by robot system, take as many follicles needed to cover the treatment area. The manual method causes less trauma to the skin. Follicle implantation is done by creating reception holes and placing follicles at the proper depth, angle and direction. Follicle survival is critical to success and natural looking results. The Cendant FUE will use PRP to aid in the graph survival rate.
Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT)
The FUT requires a long strip of scalp to be cut out which makes it more invasive than the FUE. This is typically taken from the lower back of the head and then it’s sewn back together. The follicles are then cut into single units under a microscope. This approach leaves a significant scar and can be very noticeable.
